The Especially Me! curriculum was created to help 9 through 12 year old girls navigate the pressures of adolescence and to realize they are special and unique.

Kids in the Kitchen
Junior Leagues’ Kids in the Kitchen initiative, which is supported by the Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI) and its member Leagues, is a program to empower youth to make healthy lifestyle choices an help reverse the growth of childhood obesity and its associated health issues. This program works in conjunction with 255 Junior Leagues in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and Mexico to bring a day faire at the YMCA for children and families demonstrating how to make healthy meals and snacks, fitness activities, and cooking demonstrations in hopes of curbing elevating obesity problems in our community. The Kids in the Kitchen website provides support for the success of these activities and maintains tips on nutrition, recipes and games for enjoyment and learning all year long at http://kidsinthekitchen.ajli.org.
