Requirements for Enrollment

If you can answer "yes" to each of the following, you are eligible for enrolling as a Provisional Member in the Junior League:

• You are 21 years old as of December 31^st of the year that you are enrolling.

• You are a resident of Ada, Boise, Canyon, Elmore or Gem County at the time of enrollment.

• You have an interest in volunteering, a commitment to community service, and a desire to develop your potential for participating in voluntary community projects.

What is a Provisional Member? It is a woman interested in checking out whether the League is for her! We know you have many interests and commitments in your life, and want to give you an opportunity to find out how the League can be a valuable addition.

At the completion of a 8 month Provisional Course that introduces you to the many facets of the League, you will become an Active member!

During the Provisional Course, you will have an opportunity to meet Active Members at League meetings and social events, and hear more about how the League has enriched their lives. You will get a chance to plan and participate in a project with fellow Provisional Members that makes an impact on the community. In short, you will meet new people, improve your community and have fun!
