Who are the members of the Junior League of Boise?

We are Mothers, Daughters, Sisters, and Wives. We are Teachers, CEOs, Police Officers, Doctors, Artists, Lawyers, Secretaries, Musicians, Accountants, DJs, Local Business Owners, Engineers, Stay-At-Home Moms, Project Managers, Bankers, Realtors, Psychologists, Government Officers and so much more. We are your neighbors, co-workers and friends.

With over 400 members just in the Treasure Valley, we join hands with an international network of over 200,000 women coming together for one purpose - building better communities. Rich in history and accomplishments since our founding in 1928, we are one of over 294 Junior Leagues throughout the United States, Mexico, Canada and Great Britain.

We reach out to and embrace all women regardless of age, race, or religion who demonstrate an interest in volunteerism and a commitment to bettering our community

The benefits of joining the Junior League are different for each individual as well as level of involvement.

• You will gain insight into your community's needs and help determine strategies for solutions.

• You will be given many opportunities to help the less fortunate women, children and families in your community by volunteering your time to develop and participate in local projects.

• You will receive training in effective leadership, public relations, marketing, finance, fundraising, community research and personal development will be made available to you through both informal and formal channels.
