About Us

The Junior League of Boise (JLB) is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and to improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Over its 78-year history, the JLB has worked with the community to determine existing needs, to raise funds to meet those needs, and to design long-term projects that are financially sustainable. The League has put its commitment into action in several notable projects, including the development of the Ronald McDonald House, the Discovery Center of Idaho, the Learning Lab and the Childcare Center at Community House, as well as many others. The JLB serves as both the initiator and the coordinator of these projects, and provides start-up resources including funding and committed volunteers.
